This leader will be comfortable working with cross functional teams includingproduct,engineering,analytics,data,creative,ecommand others tobuild new experiencesandachieve business resultsfocused on frequencyand revenue.Using a deep understanding of customer-centric business practices, the Director,Personalizationwillwork with others to identify moments where personalization will create a more relevant customer experience while drivingcustomer lifetime value.Thisrole will focus onthestrategy and execution of personalizedexperiencesacross channels. Responsibilities *Build and drivea data drivenstrategyfor personalized shoppingand creationfocused onimprovingcustomerengagement, adoption and repeat purchasesacross marketing channels, our website and app.*Serve as lead personalization evangelist with an eyeon the "art of the possible" while continuouslyevolvingthe program.*Collaboratewithproduct and engineering teams,analytics,data science,channels,opsand creative teamsacross the organization to conceive, testand executeexperiencesthat align withcompany strategy andgoals.*Champion and supportadvancingcustomer and enterprise data governance.*Consultin thedevelopmentof personalization technologystrategy and prioritization.*Provide clear objectives and outcomes that enable team to work independently todevelop better customersexperienceswithpersonalization.*Develop and promotean inspiring environment that values open and direct communication.*Be an advocate for your teamwhile creatingopportunities to learn and grow.*Socializecustomeranalytical/insightslearnings of greatestvalue related to personalization What you'll bring *10 years of experience working inretail, digital, media,agency, database marketing, loyalty marketing or related field.*Proven experiencein developing personalization strategies and experiences at scale.*Experience leadingoperational intense programs and/or teams.*Analytical experience working with statistical modeling and/or data science teams.*Experienceleading marketing programs in either customer segmentation, marketing personalization, consumer insights,or marketing analytics.*Experienceasa self-starterthatcan work effectively through ambiguityand thrives on achieving wins through influence and can inspire without direct authority.*Strong communicator with the ability to tell stories with data, educate effectively, and instill confidence, motivating stakeholders to act on recommendations.*Experience in successfully managing and developing team members.*Track record of effective change management.Supporting a diverse and inclusive workforce is important to Shutterfly not only because it directly reflects our value of Embracing our Differences, but also because it's the right thing to do for our business and for our people.
