Aquent has an EXCITING opportunity for a Product Designer!This position is 100% Remote. Candidates MUST be able to work Eastern Time Zone Hours.In order to be considered for this role, you must: Be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship of any kind Be able to showcase your work and UX Design process thru individual samples or an online portfolio Our TOP healthcare client is looking for a UX Designer to help design a colleague-facing Web-based product that enables rapid deployment of applications in thier complex production environment, without having to understand all of the underlying processes, teams, tickets, etc., involved in making that happen. Initial demos of the product show how the existing process will be reduced from 2-3 weeks down to 10 minutes, and has received great feedback (and shocked reactions!) from executive leadership. The product is still in an early definition and development phase, with a planned MVP release in summer 2024. Candidate requirements The ideal candidate must be able to work independently to lead product design from end-to-end with minimal supervision. They will leverage the tools, resources, and infrastructure of thier Enterprise Digital Design organization, but will need to independently drive the user-centered design process, manage partner and stakeholders relationships, and make design decisions.The candidate must demonstrate a strong user-focus, and ideally should have an understanding of how developers work. They will have significant access to engaging with end users to understand their needs; the developers building the solution will also be users of the product, so the candidate will be surrounded by end-user expertise and insights.The candidate must also have strong UI skills, leveraging the Carbon design system to create high-quality deliverables for engineering teams.The candidate should be able to handle light UX copy writing, understand Web accessibility best practices, plan and execute user research, and act as a process improvement champion. Additional role requirements At least 7-10 years product design (Web) experience The target hiring compensation range for this role is $65 to $72 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
