Reports to: Quality Assurance Manager Classification: Full-Time Direct Reports: None Exempt Status: Non-Exempt Department: Quality Assurance Community Action Agency of Greater Kansas City is a nonprofit organization providing programs and services to low-income residents of Jackson, Platte and Clay counties, Missouri. Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Social Work, Sociology, or related filedFive (5) years of related function of ensuring compliance to grantsExceptional database management system and quality control experienceStrong writing skillsGood numerical skills and understanding of mathematical formulasExcellent listening and assessment skillsStrong attention to detailSome evenings and weekends required occasionallyReliable transportation, valid driver license and maintain active car insurance Essential Job Functions: Monitor program operations to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, guidelines and policiesEnsure all eligibilities and criteria for programs and services are metEvaluate the quantity and quality of program operations are documented as specified by funding sourceWork closely with department manager and leadership team to build evaluation tools for programs and communicate internal and external resultsCreate and file appropriate compliance reportsConduct internal investigation of compliance issues and identify critical control points and preventive measuresIdentify organizational training needs to build professional developmentMerit audit responses to findings and recommendationsRoutinely report the effectiveness of departments, programs and services through Customer Surveys, Quality Assurance Reports, Outcome of Efforts, Community Assessment Needs, to name a fewInquire and maintain ROMA Certification (Results-Oriented Management and Accountability)Adjust to frequent change in duties and proceduresBe nonjudgmental and objective in working with clients, vendors and coworkersWork independently and/or team settings and adhere to deadlinesWork efficiently and effectively in high stress situationsRepresent CAAGKC at special events, meetings and/or remote locationsAny other duties as assigned Physical Demands: Sitting - 80% Standing - 10% Bending - 5% Lifting - 5% ability to lift at least 25 lbs. or less Work Environment: Inside office - 90% Out of office - 10%
