Position: Hamadeh Educational Services (HES) is proud to announce the Staff Certification Assistance Program for Education also known as SCAPE. This program will assist qualified individuals by providing educational assistance benefits to become certified Teachers with the Michigan Department of Education. HES is seeking highly motivated and energetic Teachers to join our team for this school year! In this position you will educate students using the Michigan Common Core Standards in a public school academy. The teacher will be responsible for the students' academic success and achievement. Academy Mission: The Academies provide an education that will enable the various ethnic traditions, values, and experiences of students to enrich and nurture one another. The Academies shall provide an education of the whole child by integrating the different aspects of children's learning and lives to make them more meaningful. The Academies will prepare its students to be independent lifelong learners and productive working members of a global society through acquired diverse knowledge, experiences and skills. The Academies shall provide an environment that encourages students to become upright responsible decision-makers, reflective of equity, respect and understanding, maximizing each individual's intellectual, physical, psychological and moral self by utilizing a unique safe and orderly environment that is conducive to learning to meet the challenges of this ever-changing world. Your role within our academies will involve working with a cohesive team with one common purpose: a superior education for our students, the decision makers and leaders of tomorrow. Requirements: The ability to gain a Michigan Teaching Certification/Permit through alternative routes and an interest in being placed in a teaching assignment once a Michigan Teaching Certification Permit is issued. HES sponsors numerous programs including financial assistance to meet this requirement. A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and ability to pass the applicable Michigan Test for Teacher Certification (MTTC) is required. Please contact Human Resources for further information.
