Position: Hamadeh Educational Services is seeking a Food Services Coordinator to join our team! You will lead assigned Food Services Staff in performing student tray line service and all related activities. Academy Mission: The Academies provide an education that will enable the various ethnic traditions, values, and experiences of students to enrich and nurture one another. The Academies shall provide an education of the whole child by integrating the different aspects of children's learning and lives to make them more meaningful. The Academies will prepare its students to be independent lifelong learners and productive working members of a global society through acquired diverse knowledge, experiences and skills. The Academies shall provide an environment that encourages students to become upright responsible decision-makers, reflective of equity, respect and understanding, maximizing each individual's intellectual, physical, psychological and moral self by utilizing a unique safe and orderly environment that is conducive to learning to meet the challenges of this ever-changing world. Responsibilities: Ensures student meals are assembled and delivered according to food service guidelines and healthcare requirements Monitors student trays to ensure food is prepared according to the menu and is of acceptable quality and appearance Monitors and reports compliance with departmental policies and procedures Serves as a technical or functional resource and oversees shift operations Oversees and evaluates orientation and training of assigned associates Ensures proper staffing schedules, timekeeping, and or perform daily activities in areas of responsibility Coordinates the daily and weekly activities/tasks to ensure they are performed to standards by staff in assigned areas Communicates issues that need to be addressed by management that may not consistent with department policies Exhibits pleasant and cheerful demeanor and maintains a friendly attitude with students, parents, staff, and visitors Complies with all internal and external regulatory agency standards including federal and state guidelines Other Duties as assigned Requirements: High School Diploma At least 1 year related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience required Ability to read and interpret documents; safety rues, operating & maintenance instructions and procedure manuals required Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure required Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to work well in culturally diverse setting Must be computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Software Flexible, open-minded, self-driven team member Hamadeh Educational Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
