Responsibilities: :Perform inspection of complex castings, forgings, and in:process and completed product to verify conformance to requirements.:Accurately document nonconformances that are found during inspections.:Accurately record all data as required on records, logs, data sheets, routings, sketches, and reworks.:Perform first piece inspection to verify that manufacturing process meets blueprint specifications.:Be able to work from written procedures, operation sketches, blueprints, assembly prints, routings, and reworks.:Must be able to accurately use a wide variety of complex inspection devices such as plates, comparators, verniers, jo:blocks, snap gages, mics, and electronic indicators.:Perform necessary mathematical calculations to validate/verify dimensional relationship and accuracy.:Must have the ability to work an off shift (2nd shift: 3:00pm to 11:00pm and/or 3rd shift: 11pm to 7am):Must have the ability to pass the Alloy Identity Certification.:Must have the ability to be certified for the walky stacker and be able to use a hoist. Minimum Qualifications: :Have a high school diploma or GED equivalence.:Must have two (2) years inspection experience.:Must be willing and available to work any shift (2nd shift: 3pm : 11pm, 3rd shift: 11pm : 7am). :Apply basic math skills.:Have thorough understanding of ANSI Y14.5.:Read and interpret blueprints and operational sketches.:Possess skills necessary to interpret and follow operating procedures.:Possess skills necessary to maintain accurate documentation of inspection data.:Possess sufficient computer skills.:Pass all applicable visual/dimensional written and operational examinations.:Use a variety of complex inspection gages.:Meet required vision standards.
