Practice Area: Litigation - General (consumer), Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 6 Years, Job Title: Senior AttorneyJob Overview: A law firm is seeking a Senior Attorney with extensive experience in litigation matters, particularly health care, ERISA, and commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role requires managing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and producing high-quality work products.Duties:Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.Foster positive work relationships.Comply with all firm policies and practices.Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, such as (a) working at a computer for extended periods, including on-screen reading and typing; (b) participating in digital/virtual conference calls; (c) participating in meetings as needed.Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.Requirements:6+ years of experience with drafting litigation documents, such as motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions in health care, ERISA, and commercial litigation matters.State and federal court experience is a plus.Strong communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills, including working independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.The ability to multi-task and prioritize is also required.Immediately transferable skills and strong academic backgrounds from nationally recognized schools.Strong project management skills and attention to detail.Admitted to practice law with 6+ years of experience.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar and admitted to practice law in California.Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in drafting legal documents.Strong interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.Proficiency in project management.Attention to detail and accuracy.
