Job DescriptionOur Client is seeking a full time MRI Tech Assistant to work in their state-of-the-art outpatient imaging facilities located in Mercer County, NJ. Primary Responsibilities: * Assist technologists/radiologists with patient exam preparations and electronic record input. * Verify patient information before providing paperwork to technologist. * Escort patients to modality areas for technologists. * Send images to PACs Cube when patient requests their study. * Communicate with radiologist for technologist when needed. * Promptly answer phone calls within the department using established customer service guidelines. Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED required. * Two years related medical work experience preferred. * Must be able to physically assist patients into wheel chairs and onto imaging tables. * Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds. * Demonstrated proficiency with computer technology. * Ability to handle multiple tasks on a timely basis and work in a team environment. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Demonstrated ability to speak effectively and present a pleasant, profession demeanor/image during telephone conversations or in person. * Adherence to follow established procedures and make sound decisions based on those procedures. * Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information according to policy.
