Introduction to Role: Are you ready to shape the future of healthcare? Join us as an External Scientific Execution Lead in our Biopharmaceuticals Business Unit. In this role, you will work across the ESE team to drive internal and external engagement activities in line with AZ strategy and policy. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of proactive, innovative, and brave initiatives that don't stop at the status quo. Accountabilities: As an External Scientific Execution Lead, your responsibilities will span across operations, projects, and external events. You will be instrumental in the development of the ESE team scorecard, managing the team budget, driving communication plans, and executing external flagship projects. You will also support medical ESE congress planning and manage the calendar of events across the team. Your role is not limited to these responsibilities and may be adjusted depending on the needs of the Business. Essential Skills/Experience: - Bachelor's Degree- 6 years' experience in the biopharmaceutical industry- Advanced Excel, PPT, MSP and SharePoint skills- Extensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry Desirable Skills/Experience: - Advanced degree in a science discipline- Good scientific Knowledge- Experience in partnering and collaborating with external partners and agencies- Strong team leadership and communication skills- Ability to operate with a high degree of independent judgement and initiative- Highly advanced organizational skills and ability to co-ordinate and prioritize complex projects in a timely mannerWhen we put unexpected teams in the same room, we unleash bold thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines.
