Job Overview:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing regulatory analysis and policy advising related to the Medicaid program. They will demonstrate a strong interest in complex regulatory and policy questions, supporting projects to improve access to affordable, high-quality health care services. Duties:Conduct regulatory analysis and provide policy advising on Medicaid program matters.Address complex regulatory and policy questions concerning Medicaid, including coverage, reimbursement, managed care delivery systems, and section 1115 demonstration projects under the Social Security Act.Engage with all facets of the multidisciplinary practice to support projects aimed at enhancing access to affordable, high-quality health care services.Synthesize regulatory analysis tailored for both legal and lay audiences.Perform legal research, analysis, and develop innovative solutions to meet client and team needs. Requirements:2-4 years of experience in health care regulatory matters, particularly in coverage and reimbursement.Preferred candidates will possess experience with Medicaid regulatory and policy issues and/or complex administrative law questions.Active Bar membership in good standing in the relevant jurisdiction. Education Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Skills:Strong interest and enthusiasm for Medicaid program issues and improving access to affordable, high-quality health care services.Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored for legal and lay audiences.Attention to detail with exceptional legal research and analytical abilities.Effective problem-solving skills, able to work independently and proactively.
