Medical Assistant (CMA) Philadelphia,Upper Darby, Chester, PAWe are looking for a dedicated and motivated Medical Assistant to join our medical team full time in Philadelphia,Upper Darby and Chester, PA. Ideally, we are looking for an energetic, punctual, responsible, and hard-working person. We have several multispecialty offices around the Philadelphia area, see many patients daily and are looking for a great addition to our already stellar team! Must be able to remain organized while managing multiple details, communicate effectively, relate to people from different socio-economic backgrounds, and multitask. Ideally, the incoming MA has knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, is proficient in medication administration techniques, including inhalation and can provide excellent patient care with compassion and empathy. It is preferred if the MA is fluent in Spanish or Chinese.About us:Our patients know they will receive exceptional, convenient multi-specialty medical care within our offices in the greater Philadelphia area and that their health and medical needs matter to us. We provide a wide range of services to include primary and urgent care, physical therapy, home care and workplace health.Duties:? Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and billing and coding for insurance purposes? Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatments.? Administer medications, including injections, as directed by healthcare providers.? Prepare patients for procedures and assist with minor surgeries? Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.? Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing.? Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and general health topics.? Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urinalysis and blood glucose monitoring.? Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.? Collaborate with the team for comprehensive patient careRequirements:? Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program.? Basic life support (BLS) certification? Strong customer service skills to ensure positive patient experiences.? Familiarity with X-ray procedures and equipment is a plus.? Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.?
