Acenda's expert team helps each individual, family and community move forward in their journey towards health and happiness.Job Overview: Assist families with a history of homelessness or housing instability in securing appropriate housing by identifying viable properties, assisting with the application process and developing relationships with landlords and property managers. Work collaboratively with the landlords to facilitate and maintain positive tenant relations. Work with an interdisciplinary team to proactively resolve tenant issues and ensure the stability of housing.Key Responsibilities: * Provide support services to families with a history of homelessness or housing instability * Assistparentsin completing DCA housing applications * Assist parents in finding appropriate housing and making a successful transition to self-sufficient living * Provide coaching and advocacy regarding tenant issues * Work collaboratively with property managers and landlords * Work collaboratively with your KFT peers, DCP&P andcommunityserviceproviders * Complete documentation consistent with program andagencyrequirementsRequirements: * Bachelor's degree in counseling or a related field * Strong engaging, communication and collaboration skills * Professionalism, ethics and a commitment to excellence in care * Must demonstrate initiative, creativity, reliability and the ability to work well independently Must be able to exerciseindependent thinking and good judgment * Must be able to analyze work, set goals, develop plans and utilize time effectively and efficiently * Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle and an acceptable driving recordWe Provide: * An Innovative culture that encourages you to grow and learn with the agency * Mission-driven core * Health, Vision and Dental coverage for you and your family * 401(k) with up to a 5% employer match * Generous time-off * Flexible Spending Accounts * Year-end performance bonusesDepartment/ProgramCC10035 Keeping Families Together - Tenant Based Gloucester
