The ideal candidate will have a robust background in representing private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders in various financial transactions.Duties:Represent private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders in term and revolving loan facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, and corporate growth.Draft and negotiate commitment papers, credit agreements, and collateral documents.Provide legal counsel on complex financial matters related to debt financing in the private equity sector.Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Collaborate with internal teams and clients to address legal issues and facilitate transactions efficiently.Requirements:Minimum of 3+ years of experience in private equity debt finance or related fields.Extensive experience representing private equity sponsors and/or banks in financial transactions.Strong background in drafting and negotiating commitment papers, credit agreements, and collateral documents.Outstanding academic credentials from a reputable law school.Admission to the relevant Bar association or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Relevant Bar admission is required (or eligibility is required to obtain admission promptly).Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in legal research and analysis.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
