Job Specification The Vice President, Sales functions as the commercial lead for OneRail, an innovative Final Mile SaaS company. This role will fulfil the leadership and coordination duties for OneRail’s Sales and Business Development team and be instrumental in developing an overall strategy to drive the company’s growth. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned Sales Executive who excels in strategic sales team development and consistently drives success. The candidate will possess a robust network within the logistics and final mile ecosystem and demonstrate a proven track record of sales excellence. Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer (CGO), this role will be based out of OneRail’s Orlando, FL HQ, with the ability to work remotely. Responsibilities L ead a team of sales and development professionals, including Account Executives (AE’s) and Development Executives (BDE's). Carry a sales personal sales quota, in addition to the team bookings quota. Develop and deliver sales plans and budgets by partnering with Marketing to create and maintain a pipeline of qualified sales opportunities that align with corporate goals and senior management’s vision for the future of the Company. Execute the OneRail Solutions Based Value Engineering based approach to the customer buying journey. Aggressively work to build the sales pipeline, both personally and with your team of AE’s and BDE’s. As a proven sales leader with strategic data and analytical skills, deliver all plans and frameworks to ensure the company's commercial effectiveness with customer acquisition and retention programs. This will include all ongoing measurements and metrics required to demonstrate success. Lead/mentor the Sales & Business Development team to meet specific goals that are aligned with the company's goals and mission. Aside from deploying plans to meet objectives, this role will also manage budgets and work with outside partners to meet Company goals. Lead the team in consistently seeking new business opportunities by presenting and recommending new OneRail modules, applications, services, and partner solutions. This role will work closely with the technology, product management, customer success and senior management teams to deliver long-term strategies to expand commercial potential. Qualifications & Experience MBA or equivalent level of career experience within the Logistics/SaaS arena. 8+ years senior sales leadership experience and success, with demonstrable results. 5+ years SaaS enterprise sales experience, ideally within the supply chain or logistics/final mile arena. Proven track record of leading sales teams to meet or exceed new bookings quotas. Execution of brand building and development in new markets. Excellent team leadership and career development history. Proven commercial strategy skills. Strong knowledge and application of digital marketing, social media platforms and advertising techniques. Proven experience working across multiple departments and internal teams. Attributes Impactful leader with “can-do” attitude. Deadline and results focused. Attention to detail. Professional work ethic. Highly organized, confident communicator & leader. Ability to regularly travel throughout North America and Internationally.
