The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in independently handling and managing commercial litigation cases alongside excellent research, writing, and communication skills.Duties:Independently manage a caseload of commercial litigation matters.Conduct legal research and analysis on federal and New Jersey state laws relevant to assigned cases.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Prepare for and represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and arbitrations.Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff on case strategy and development.Maintain communication with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns throughout the litigation process.Stay abreast of developments in commercial litigation laws and procedures.Requirements:4-6 years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm setting.Strong knowledge of federal and New Jersey state laws related to commercial litigation, civil procedure, and evidence rules.Experience with New Jersey state court proceedings is required.Proven track record of independently handling and managing commercial litigation cases.Admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar of New Jersey.Skills:Excellent legal research and writing abilities.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
