Location: Williston, Vermont Type: Direct Hire Job #598 Salary: $40,000 Patent Legal Support Analyst (remote-hybrid) Location: Williston, VT - New York, NY - Washington, D.C. - Palo Alto, CA - Los Angeles, CA The Organization: Large U.S. Based Law Firm Salary & Benefits: Base Salary up to $50K; Generous paid overtime and bonus; Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage; Paid Time Off; 401K; Life Insurance. Summary: Reporting to the Senior Practice Support Manager, candidates must be willing to work independently and juggle multiple assignments in a fast-paced, corporate environment. Patent and/or life science transactional experience is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities: Review all firm patent docketing to ensure accuracy and compliance for domestic and foreign patents Ensure docketing information follows client preferences Audit patent documentation internally Review and correct information to meet client expectations within IP Client Portal Work closely with the IP Patent Team to identify issues or opportunities for improvement Create data reports using queries Open new docketing and financial system matters using the firm's client management system Perform other duties, both substantive and administrative, as needed (in coordination with the firm's other national offices) Requirements: Bachelor's Degree required Patent or life science experience in a law firm experience preferred Operations and project management capabilities and mindset Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to run reports Incredible attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work under pressure with shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills
