Diesel Mechanic $25-$35 per hour plus benefits Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm We are a reputable heavy duty diesel truck dealership in Buffalo, NY. We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with experience in general repairs, warranty repairs, emissions, transmission, and electrical systems. Responsibilities --- Perform general repairs and maintenance on commercial trucks, including but not limited to engine, transmission, and electrical systems. --- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently and accurately. --- Conduct warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. --- Perform emissions testing and repairs as required. --- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. --- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding repair status and recommendations. Requirements --- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic. --- Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines and related systems. --- Experience with warranty repairs preferred. --- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing emissions, transmission, and electrical issues. --- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. --- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. --- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
