SCOPE: As a skilled OnBase Microsoft Technologies Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our document management and workflow automation systems. Your role will play a crucial role in optimizing our business processes, ensuring efficient document management, and enhancing overall system performance. This position offers a remote work arrangement, allowing the ideal candidate to work from their preferred location within the Southeast region. DUTIES : Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to understand document management and workflow automation requirements. Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes to identify areas for improvement. Design and develop OnBase solutions that align with business objectives and improve operational efficiency. Customize and configure OnBase workflows, forms, and interfaces based on project requirements. Utilize Microsoft technologies, including .NET and SQL Server, to enhance the functionality and performance of document management systems. Integrate OnBase solutions seamlessly with other enterprise systems, ensuring data consistency and accuracy. Collaborate with integration teams to establish reliable connections between OnBase and external applications. Proactively identify and address issues related to document management and workflow automation. Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective solutions to minimize system downtime. Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive information within document management systems. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies governing document handling and retention. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in OnBase and Microsoft technologies. Propose and implement enhancements to document management systems to keep them aligned with evolving business needs. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT support, to provide technical assistance and support. Train end-users on the effective use of document management systems and troubleshoot user issues. Create comprehensive technical documentation for developed solutions, configurations, and integrations. Maintain up-to-date documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer within the IT team. Conduct thorough testing of OnBase solutions to ensure reliability, security, and optimal performance. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address and resolve any identified issues. Follow best practices in software development, version control, and system architecture. Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability of developed solutions. Participate in project planning and execution, meeting deadlines and milestones. Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and proposed solutions. EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a developer with an emphasis in OnBase and Microsoft technologies preferred. Strong proficiency in configuring and customizing OnBase workflows and forms. Experience in integrating OnBase solutions with other enterprise systems. Solid understanding of Microsoft technologies, including .NET, SQL Server, and Azure. Familiarity with property and casualty insurance business processes is a plus.
