Practice Area: Personal Injury Plaintiffs, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 5 Years, A law firm is seeking a Negligence Plaintiff Attorney in Fairfax, VA.Job Overview:The Negligence Plaintiff Attorney will be responsible for managing a full caseload of Negligence cases, from inception to resolution. The successful candidate must demonstrate expertise in handling cases of varying complexities, maintain exceptional client interaction, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Duties:Handle a full caseload of Negligence cases, from opening new files to creating litigation plansAutonomously manage a large volume of files, ensuring timely and efficient handlingConduct thorough reviews of incoming correspondence and medical recordsEngage in discovery processes, make court appearances, and actively participate in trialsMaintain exceptional client interaction throughout the legal processTravel to various commissions, courts, and conferences as neededRequirements:Demonstrated experience in handling Negligence cases of varying complexities (5+ years desired)Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleaguesMust be licensed in DC, VA, and/or MDEducation Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolActive license to practice law in DC, VA, and/or MDSkills:Excellent oral and written communication skillsProficient in legal research and writingStrong negotiation skillsAbility to effectively manage time and prioritize tasksProficiency in relevant legal software and technologyBenefits:Competitive compensation structure with bonuses based on productionMedical, dental, and vision insuranceCompany-paid short-term/long-term disability and life insuranceGenerous PTO401kFlexible workspaceEngaging multi-discipline environment
