The ideal candidate will independently represent clients, manage legal matters, provide strategic advice, and participate in business development initiatives. Duties:Independently represent and provide legal advice to clients in meetings, proceedings, and negotiationsManage multiple legal matters simultaneously, independently or collaborativelyAssign tasks to associates and support staff, ensuring efficient workflowPrepare case theories, memorandums, and reports for Senior ManagementConduct due diligence in legal matters related to contracts and agreementsConsult with Managing Partner and Practice Group Leaders on client mattersDevelop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and explanation of legal proceedingsGain in-depth knowledge of clients' businesses, economic drivers, and sector requirementsParticipate in business development and marketing initiatives to expand the practiceProspect for new clients through networking, marketing efforts, writing articles, and speaking engagementsContribute to Corporate Social Responsibility, pro-bono work, and social activitiesCoach associate attorneys and legal assistants to build their capacity and skills Requirements:Strong background in preparing estate planning documents and administering trusts and estatesActive member in good standing of the California State BarLL.M. in Taxation preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsImpeccable attention to detail and professionalismSelf-motivated with the ability to inspire client confidenceProficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Lexis/NexisDemonstrated ability to handle complex legal matters independentlyProven track record in client management and business developmentCommitment to upholding the highest ethical standards Education:LL.M. in Taxation preferredStrong academic credentials Experience:6-12 years of experience in estate planning and trust administration This law firm is located in Newport Beach, California and its three main values are experience, quality, and service.
