Job Overview: The Mid-Level Native American Law Attorney will handle transactional work related to Native American Law, including intergovernmental negotiations and agreements, Indian healthcare clinic contracts and operations, leasing and land use, gaming and hospitality, tribal employment matters, and drafting legislation and ordinances. Duties:Conduct transactional work related to Native American LawHandle intergovernmental negotiations and agreementsAssist with Indian healthcare clinic contracts and operationsManage leasing and land use mattersProvide legal counsel on gaming and hospitality issuesAddress tribal employment mattersDraft legislation and ordinances Requirements:Degree in Native American Law3-5 years of experience with federal law impacting tribesCalifornia and/or Arizona Bar admissionExcellent academic credentials Education:Degree in Native American Law Skills:Strong understanding of federal law impacting tribesTangible legal experience working in Native American communitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to negotiate intergovernmental agreementsProficiency in drafting legislation and ordinances This full-service full-service corporate and litigation law firm is located in .
