We are looking for 2 Rental/Leasing Agents to join our successful team to help us rent our exclusive apartment inventory (200 plus apartments). Must be versed in seeking out and pre-qualifying clients for rental homes, apartments, and commercial properties. The ideal candidate for this position is familiar with local, state, and Federal Fair Housing laws and enjoys working with people and promoting properties on various platforms. A fast-paced environment suitable for those who think/act quickly and thoroughly. This position comes with administrative and hands-on mentoring and training support plus a great family-first attitude. We work hard and play hard too. Responsibilities: • Promote available properties using various social media and websites to help ensure quick rental contracts• Confirm rental application data and personal references to ensure accuracy• Show prospective tenants properties and highlight the provided amenities to help ensure rental contract• Become acquainted with client expectations of housing and finances and highlight properties that meet those expectationsIn addition, we require all applicants to match the following responsibilities:- Willingness to learn and be coachable- Prompt responsiveness- Professional demeanor- Be willing to make a minimum of 25 phone contacts per day- Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a car is a plus Qualifications: • Past sales experience is preferred• Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written• Willingness to learn new tools, systems, and technologies• Familiar with leasing regulations Compensation: $132,000+ About Company: BRUMA Stands for BRonx Upper MAnhattan; our focus area.
