Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Principal Configuration Analyst based out of Salt Lake City, UT. Roles and Responsibilities: Plans and coordinates preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met. Reviews contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes. Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support manufacturing, and engineering data control activities. Implement and maintains processes and procedure for configuration identification, control, status accounting, and auditing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish configuration baselines and manage changes throughout the product lifecycle. Review and analyze configuration change requests to assess impacts on product configurations schedules and budgets. Develop and maintain configuration management plans, documentation, and reports in compliance with contractual obligations. Conduct configuration audits and reviews to verify compliance with contractual requirements and quality standards. Provide guidance and support to project teams on configuration management best practices and EIA-649 requirements. Will oversee the management and compliance of SDRL/CDRL data requirements in accordance with contract requirements and industry standards. Will coordinate with project teams to gather, review, and validate SDRL and CDRL deliverables. Monitor project progress to ensure timely submission of SDRL and CDRL item compliance with contractual obligations. Collaborate with steak holders to resolve issues and discrepancies related to SDRL and CDRL submissions. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of experience; Master's Degree with 4 years experience; Associate's Degree with 8 years of experience OR 10 years of experience in lieu of degree. Strong understanding of configuration management principles, processes, and tools Familiarity with EIA-649 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail Effective communication and personal abilities, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams Strong understanding of engineering drawing practices Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Active Secret Clearance. Proven experience in configuration and SDRL/CDRL management Familiarity with manufacturing processes Strong Microsoft suite skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) Strong project management experience Salary Range: $76,600 - $115,000The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
