Responsibilities OBXtek is staffing for a Project Task Manager LVL IV Joint Base Langley/Eustis (site lead) to lead the SETA Support for PEO Soldier Headquarters program supporting Program Executive Office (PEO) SoldierThis project supports PEO Soldier Headquarters (PEO HQs) and provides wide-ranging support to include Engineering, Acquisition Support, Business Management Support, Logistics Support, Operations Support, Chief Information Office Directorate and Formal Reviews for all of the offices as part of its oversight mission for the subordinate Project Management Offices (PMOs)Position is contingent upon contract awardThis contract provides engineering and test support; acquisition support, business management support, acquisition logistics support, operations support, cybersecurity support, information management/information technology (IM/IT) support, property accountability support, international program support, and administrative support.The general tasks for this position will be to:--- Assist in identifying requirements and solutions in close coordination with PEO leadership and stakeholders--- Analyze program requirements and emerging priorities, and allocate personnel and resources to best meet all the tasks and deliverables.--- Serve as Senior Analyst/Subject Matter Expert in support of all related initiatives Responsibilities--- Provides day to day direction for a group of subordinates--- Provides expert functional guidance to employees--- Interfaces with Government management to resolve problems--- Establishes priorities of work to subordinates based on Government goals and objectives--- Interfaces between Government customer and contractor--- Performs other PM direct support functional roles--- Distribute and balance workload in accordance with established workflows and assure timely accomplishment of the assigned workload--- Give on the job training to new employees in accordance with established procedures and practices--- Lead the team in assessing its strengths and weaknesses and provide leadership to the team in exploring alternatives and determining improvements--- Articulate and communicate to the team the assignment, problem to be solved, actionable events, milestones, suspenses and time frames for completion--- Assigns work to personnel according to workload, ability and priority of assignment and Provides instruction and assistance as necessary on problems or issues Qualifications Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearanceExperience:--- 15 years of related experience.--- Eight (8) years of experience in managing and directing DoD projects and programs related to logistics initiatives, operations, and supporting multiple CONUS and OCONUS locations.--- Proven ability to lead diverse teams in a dynamic Military Service environment.--- Understanding of US Army acquisition process, data management, strategic communications and other digital modernization initiatives is preferredEducation/Certifications:--- B.Sdegree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related scientific or technical discipline.--- Program Management Institute (PMI) Certification highly desired Security Clearance Secret Company Information Headquartered in McLean, Virginia and founded in 2009, OBXtek is a fast-growing leader in the government contracting fieldOur mission is Our People...Our ReputationOur people are trained professionals who enhance our customers' knowledge and innovation using technology, collaboration, and educationWe offer a robust suite of benefits including comprehensive medical, dental and vision plans, Flexible Spending Accounts, matching 401K, paid time off, tuition reimbursement plans and much moreAs a prime contractor for 93% of our current work, OBXtek pairs lessons learned across disciplines with industry standard quality practices such as CMMI-Dev Level III, ITIL, 6Sigma, PMI, and ISOOur rapid growth has been recognized by INC500, the Washington Business Journal, and Washington Technology magazineOBXtek is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, gender identity, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation or any other classification protected by federal, state or local law.
