OverviewSUMMARYBering Straits Native Corporation (BSNC) is seeking a Billing Analyst for our corporate Anchorage office. ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position, and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. * Analyze and review expenses to be billed on CPFF contracts. * Create and submit CPFF, and T&M billings to customers in compliance with the contract, by the prospective due dates and the deadlines of the accounting department. * Monitor and maintain Open Billing Detail reports for expenses ready to bill. * Maintain spreadsheets to track billing and revenue. * Monitor and maintain billing schedules to include proportional billing, Clins, Slins, Acrns, etc. * Review and approve Billing Specialists' invoices and submittals in electronic platforms. * Analyze WAWF entries for accuracy. * Train staff and provide resources as SME when needed. * Organize and recommend improvements for billing format structure. * Review and approve cash receipts for accuracy. Monthly bank statement review. * Weekly release of PWP vendors for payables. * Monthly follow up on aging receivables for cash management. * Analysis of unbilled monthly. * Work with Project Accounting on the annual true-up of CPFF and CPFC contracts in compliance with FAR clauses. * Must perform duties as a Billing Specialist III for a minimum of 2 years. * All other duties as assigned in support of the receivables department.QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONRequired (Minimum) Qualifications: * Five (5) years of federal contract billing experience. * Five (5) years of experience with Deltek Costpoint or similar software. * Five (5) years of experience in receivables. * Experience working with IPP, Wide Area Work Flow, GSA, NSA electronic invoicing platforms. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Experience with Government websites. * Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook.Preferred * Experience with Government contracting, pricing proposals. * Bachelor's Degree in related field or required work experience.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting.
