Intern Product Manager - AI/ML Software Development

Description The Intern Product Manager will assist in the development of AI/ML software for the NJII AI Lab. The intern will work closely with the team to define product requirements, create roadmaps, and ensure successful product delivery. Person Reports To - AVP of AI and ML Supervises - N/A Essential Functions Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and specifications Assist in creating product roadmaps and timelines Work on coding, Q+A, testing, and integration of new features. Participate in the development and execution of product launch plans Monitor and report on product performance metrics Additional Functions Attend and contribute to team meetings and brainstorming sessions Assist with the creation of product documentation and user guides Support the team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed Prerequisite Qualifications Education/Degree Required: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field Years of Experience Required: No prior work experience required; relevant internships, coursework, or projects preferred Knowledge/Skills Required: Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and applications Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: Good interpersonal communication skills Coursework or projects related to AI/ML Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Passion for technology and eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment he Intern Product Manager will assist in the development of AI/ML software for the NJII AI Lab.
