Industrial Boiler Operator

Shift: This role is 3rd Shift, 12:00 AM-12:00 AMHourly Rate: $30.92 an hour Position Responsibilities Ability to operate and regulate boiler plant equipment and make adjustments as required for plant output. Maintains maximum boiler efficiency by adjusting, reading, and interpreting gauges, indicators, and steam flow meters. Inspect safety devices daily, running tests and reporting any unusual situations. Maintain required records on boiler/plant efficiency, water treatment, oil/chemical consumption, including leakage monitoring ' Maintain and operate air compressors and refrigerant dryers responsible for providing the plant with compressed air. Be responsible for monitoring and responding to wastewater alarms. Be responsible for boiler water treatment programs and conduct water sample tests. Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and preventative maintenance programs. Perform minor pipe repairs. Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams, written orders, control gauges, manufacturer's operating instructions books, and to record boiler plant information. Ability to understand and follow complex oral or written instructions on proper plant operation. Perform other related duties as assigned.
