The Sunrise Ridge Program Director (PD) is responsible for the daily administrative and operational oversight of the Athol Women’s program, a Co-Occurring Enhanced Residential Recovery Home for adult women diagnosed with substance use disorders and other co-occurring disorders. This program will also offer programming for pregnant and postpartum women. Responsibilities and Duties: The PD is responsible for the hiring, orientation, scheduling, development, and administrative supervision of all Sunrise Ridge staff. The PD also collaborates with the Clinical Supervisor to ensure that all clinical training requirements are met. The PD is responsible for the overall safety of the patients, staff, physical plant, and property. The PD may be required at times to respond to incidents during evenings, nights, and weekends in the case of an emergency. ​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​ The PD is responsible for management, acquisition and utilization of program supplies including food, office supplies, cleaning supplies, patient personal needs, etc. The PD is required to collaborate with the Clinical Supervisor regarding all potential patients to determine the applicant’s appropriateness for admission, factoring in relevant assessment and intake data as well as the applicant’s history with the program. The PD oversees the management of the daily patient census and the utilization of available beds and other resources. In addition, the PD is required to work with the appropriate departments to ensure that all information relevant to billing is up to date, accurate and available for submission. The PD supervises the development, implementation, and revision of the program curriculum, ensuring that programmatic options meet the needs of patients and adhere to licensing and statutory requirements. The PD is required to attend weekly case conference meetings, monthly management meetings, program completion ceremonies, and other meetings as assigned. The PD examines patient satisfaction data, as well as input from patient families and other stakeholders, and works to ensure that the program maintains a culture of trust, support, caring, compassion, and improved outcomes for the patients we serve. The PD will work collaboratively with multiple outside providers and agencies such as maternal health clinicians, birth hospitals, opioid treatment programs, Department of Children and Families (DCF), mental health and intimate partner violence service providers, health insurers, and the courts, if a woman is criminal justice system involved. The PD will be familiar with the Plan of Safe Care and create dyadic support for mothers and their babies. The PD will also create a NAS (neonatal abstinence syndrome) friendly environment for postpartum women and their infants. The PD will be responsible for ensuring all women receive comprehensive education about women’s health, preventive healthcare measures, and family planning. The PD will establish QSOA’s with community prenatal care providers (OB/GYN), birthing hospitals, pediatric providers, early intervention and providers of parenting and family services. The PD will be responsible for networking and communicating with referral sources, funders, community leaders, and stakeholders while representing and promoting the program. The PD works with the AVP, VP and CEO in the preparation of the annual program budget and monitors program fiscal progress against annual budget throughout the fiscal year. The PD is responsible for ensuring that all policies, procedures, and program offerings comply with BSAS regulations as well as Federal, State and Local statutory requirements. The PD will prepare the biannual BSAS licensing application and work with licensors on site visits and program audits as requested by BSAS. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or demonstrated equivalent experience required. CADC or LADC preferred. Minimum of 5 years practical experience in residential SUD Treatment setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Must have excellent written, oral, and computer skills. The applicant must pass applicable background checks, the CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) and DCF Check (Adam Walsh Act). A valid driver’s license is required. Supervision Given: The Program Director provides administrative supervision to the program staff at Sunrise Ridge. Supervision Received: The Program Director is supervised by the Vice President.
