ESTIMATED PAY RANGE $70,000 - $85,000 JOB SUMMARY As a Quality Engineer, you may be tasked with: helping to oversee manufacturing methods; ensuring proper use of tools, materials, and procedures; working with suppliers to ensure all materials & components meet quality standards; analyzing customer feedback to identify potential flaws; documenting any issues in the production process and developing ways to correct them; creating and presenting quality reports; monitoring the quality of employee training and maintaining safety standards, and working collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners. PROJECT LOCATION Onsite - Madison, SD Upon project completion (TBD), transition to onsite in our Sioux Falls, SD Applied Engineering Office QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering required 2+ years quality or manufacturing engineering experience required Previous experience as a Quality Engineer supporting a production environment preferred 2+ years of 3D CAD modeling experience preferred Previous Quality Assurance experience a plus SKILLS AND VALUES Capable of working independently and as a team member Strong work ethic and unwavering integrity Excellent interpersonal skills and a learning mindset Curiosity, problem solving, and analytical thinking Effective verbal and written communication Desire to work on a variety of projects ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Please consider joining Applied’s team of talented employees!
