This position is critical to successfully support Marsh client of all sized from middle market to publicly traded companies You will work closely with Associated Account Executives and Account Executives and provide support to help clients coordinate solutions, manage accounts, obtain advice, administer programs, and perform other duties as assigned You will be expected to go through on the job, computer-based and in-person training for day-to-day insurance service tasks and renewal cycle Taking the lead on tasks include gathering exposure data in Excel, prefilling renewal applications, putting together loss summaries in excel, renewing certificates and auto insurance cards, managing billing and payment reconciliation, policy review and transmittals, and endorsements review, track, and transmittal Work alongside highly experienced colleagues to gain experience and skill sets for professional growth You can rest assured a high value is placed on diversity and we work to foster understanding, inclusion, and innovation in the workplace You will be doing impactful, challenging work, and can look forward to a career with many opportunities to learn, grow, and advance What is in it for you? (Medical, dental, vision, STD/LTD, life insurance, generous 401k match AND automatic contribution) Generous paid time off for vacation, sick days, company holidays (with early dismissal), floating holidays, and time to give back to your community; flexible work culture Employee Resource Groups which provide access to leaders, relevant volunteer, and mentoring opportunities, and interactions with counterparts in industry groups and client organizations We will count on you to: Support Associate Account Executive and Account Executives pertaining to client insurance programs and daily services Collaborate with Associate Account Executives and Account Executive to drive business and retention, and improve the client experience throughout the proposal and renewal process Facilitate claim notifications, contract and audit reviews, and follow up regarding endorsements, policy issuance, extensions and cancellations, and escalate concerns to direct manager or client team, as appropriate Monitor the renewal cycle by ensuring renewal protocol is completed (via tools available), gathering information, tracking quotes, and ensuring documents are issued correctly and on-time in accordance with our professional standards Monitor the maintenance of proper records for reporting and audit purposes and processes insurance and claims details into the database Strengthen and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth and retention Respond directly to simple and moderately difficult client questions and requests, and solicit assistance from Associate Account Executive and Account Executive as needed Ensure all client information is collected, reviewed, updated, and communicated to placement team for optimal program solutions and pricing Participate in RFP and new client onboarding as needed Coordinate meetings with clients and insurers throughout the renewal cycle as necessary What you need to have: HS Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years' experience in insurance, ideally in Property & Casualty P&C broker license, or ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire Strong Excel proficiency and working knowledge of the MS Office Suite Exceptional interpersonal skills coupled with strong written and verbal communications Excellent organizational and time management skills; must be a self-starter, proactive, responsive, and resourceful Must have keen attention to detail with a focus on accuracy What makes you stand out: Bachelor's degree Experience in serving clients in the healthcare, senior living, and long-term care sectors Ability to work in a team environment Marsh is the world's leading insurance broker and risk adviser.
