Job Details Job Location : Temecula - Temecula, CA Salary Range : $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 Salary Description Position Summary The Social Media Specialist is responsible for creating social media campaigns and the day-to-day management of the Company's various social media platforms. Your passion for social media as a communication and engagement tool will result in adopting and implementing social media best practices across all social media channels.This position will own all aspects of social media management, including the creation of social media strategies, planning and creation of social media calendars, content generation and publication, and moderation of user-generated content to advance the Company's positioning and to attract followers, foster positive community interaction, elevate audience engagement, maximize ROI and revenue growth, and optimize channel performance. This position is a hybrid position - incumbent must live local to our Temecula, California office. Essential Functions and Duties Social Media Responsibilities: Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, and messaging and audience identification. Generate, publish, and share daily content that fosters meaningful connections, attracts followers, elevates audience engagement, and encourages current and potential customers to take action. Set up and optimize Company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the Company's social content and advance positioning. Generate demand for the assigned products, brands, and categories. Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community. Create editorial calendars and schedules. Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then act on the information to optimize channel performance. Collaborate with other departments (customer service, sales, etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players, coordinate actions, and maximize ROI and revenue growth. Comply with the policies and procedures stated in the Injury and Illness Prevention Program by always working in a safe manner and immediately reporting any injury, safety hazard, or program violation. Ensure conduct is consistent with all Compliance Program Policies and procedures when engaging in any activity on behalf of the company. Immediately report any concerns or violations. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field, or four (4) years of relevant experience in lieu of degree. Knowledge: Expert in social media platforms Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X (formerly known as Twitter), YouTube, and Google Ads. Experience using Adobe Creative Suite products (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign). Proficient with social media management and reporting platforms such as Loomly, Meltwater, and Google Analytics. Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels. Experience: Minimum four (4) years' [eight (8) for non-degreed candidates] experience in social media management. Healthcare industry preferred. Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent photography, videography and editing skills. Excellent storytelling and creativity skills. Excellent organizational, productivity, time-management, and multi-tasking skills. Positive attitude, detail-oriented and customer centric Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Sound decision-making skills. Fluent in English Physical requirements Vision, hearing, speech, movements requiring the use of wrists, hands and/or fingers. Must have the ability to view a computer screen for long periods and the ability to sit for extended periods. Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled. The employee occasionally lifts up to 20 lbs. and occasionally kneels and bends. Must have the ability to travel occasionally. Working condition include normal office setting. Mental Demands Learning, thinking, concentration and the ability to work under pressure, particularly during busy times. Must be able to pay close attention to detail and be able to work as a member of a team to ensure excellent customer service. Must have the ability to interact effectively with co-workers and customers, and exercise self-control and diplomacy in customer and employee relations' situations. Must have the ability to exercise discretion as well as appropriate judgments when necessary. Must be proactive in finding solutions.
