The Event Producer is responsible for producing and managing a broad range of fast-paced events and experiences. The producer works hand in hand with our clients, account managers and strategists to understand client communication needs, and provide solutions that will engage their audience and deliver results. This role is hybrid, working 3 days a week from the Harrisburg, PA office when not traveling to event s. Responsibilities: Meet with new and existing clients to assess their communication needs. Work hand in hand with account managers, strategists, creative leaders, production managers, and the event team to develop solutions. Develop and present budgets and proposals. Create detail timelines and production schedules to meet event deadlines. Communicate key milestones to client and internal team members. Manage event budgets to deliver events on time and on budget. Create event concepts by participating in ideation, collaborating with art and technical directors and develop a plan for the execution of these ideas. Supervise and coordinate all aspects of an event including developing concepts and ideas, overseeing operations, direction staff, and coordinating production aspects. Perform site visits to ensure the venue is adequate to meet client, creative, and production requirements. Direct, produce, manage and delegate appropriate aspects of the events. Deliver projects on time, making sure clients’ communications objectives are adequately met. All other responsibilities as assigned Qualifications: A degree in communications, production or a related field and 3+ years of industry experience. Experience as an event coordinator events industry or a background in production. Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and work on multiple projects simultaneously. A portfolio containing samples of work; event photos, productions schedules, creative concepts, etc. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must work well in a team-oriented, creative, collaborative environment. Ability to manage a team and contribute to team efforts. This position requires an assertive, organized, self-motivated individual with writing and computer skills, flexibility, and the ability to delegate and think creatively. Fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Internet technologies. Must have a valid driver’s license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance. Must be available for travel when necessary. Stage managing, show calling, and audio/video experience is preferred. Ability to travel up to 50% a month Powered by JazzHR
