The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, a degree in electrical engineering or computer science, and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. This individual must possess excellent communication and writing skills, along with a proven track record in a law firm setting. Duties:Conduct patent preparation and prosecution activities in the fields of electrical engineering, computer science, software-related technologies, data science/AI, networking technologies (with emphasis on network security), machine learning/artificial intelligence, and hardware security.Collaborate with clients, engineers, and inventors to gather necessary information for patent applications.Draft and prosecute patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).Provide legal counsel on intellectual property matters and assist in patent portfolio management. Requirements:Minimum of 2 years of relevant patent preparation and prosecution experience.Degree in electrical engineering or computer science.Juris Doctor (JD) degree.Admission to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Certifications:Admission to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Skills:High level of academic achievement.The solid law firm, engineering, and industry experience.Excellent writing and communication skills.Proficiency in patent prosecution in electrical engineering or software-related technologies.Preferred experience in data science/AI, networking technologies (especially network security), machine learning/artificial intelligence, and hardware security.
