The ideal candidate will hold a degree in electrical engineering or computer science, possess admission to the USPTO, and have at least 4 years of relevant patent preparation and prosecution experience. This role involves working on patents related to electrical engineering, software, data science, AI, networking technologies, and machine learning, with a focus on network security and hardware security. Duties:Conduct patent searches and analyses to assess patentability.Draft and prosecute patent applications in the areas of electrical engineering, computer science, software-related technologies, data science/AI, networking technologies, and machine learning.Provide legal advice on patent strategy and portfolio management.Collaborate with inventors, attorneys, and clients to gather necessary information for patent applications.Analyze and respond to office actions from the USPTO. Requirements:Bachelor's or higher degree in electrical engineering or computer science.Admission to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is mandatory.Minimum of 4 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution.Solid understanding of patent laws and regulations.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Experience:Experience in patent prosecution related to electrical engineering or software-related technologies.Knowledge in data science/AI, networking technologies (with a focus on network security), and machine learning.Familiarity with hardware security. Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and research skills.Ability to work collaboratively with inventors, attorneys, and clients.Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.Proficient in patent search and analysis tools.Familiarity with patent portfolio management.
