Law Review or Business Law Journal experience is preferred. The candidate will be negotiating and drafting business agreements. Closing private equity and venture capital investment transactions. Drafting private placement offerings for small businesses and investment funds. Organizing companies, including limited liability companies and corporations; and drafting all organizational documents. This law firm offers legal services to prosperous families and private companies. Their areas of practice include business and corporate law, residential and commercial real estate, financial and estate planning, domestic and international taxation, and sports and entertainment law. The firm is located in Chicago, Illinois.Additional Skills: The candidate must have a JD degree; candidates with 5+ years of business, financial or tax qualifications (LL.M., CFP, CPA, MBA, MST) will be considered. Should possess superior communication, drafting, writing, and research skills and excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Word.
