Description:

Job Duties: Write efficient, scalable and maintainable code that will help consistently deliver highly personalized experiences to Reddit users. Design and implement components of our recommender systems to adapt to user signals and optimize for long term user satisfaction; potentially including user targeting and segmentation, candidate retrieval, reinforcement learning, feature engineering, and prediction models. Follow data-driven design principles to develop hypotheses, test them via well designed experiments, and analyze the results to learn and iterate. Champion and drive engineering processes and best practices. Collaborate across disciplines and with other ML teams at Reddit to find technical solutions to complex challenges. Telecommuting is an option. Minimum Requirements: Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field. Special Skill Requirements: (1) Python; (2) AWS, GCP or cloud computing; (3) Docker; (4) Pandas; (5) Tensorflow or Pytorch; (6) SQL; (7) machine learning model training; (8) ML libraries sklearn and numpy; and (9) offline and online model evaluation. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Salary: $267,000.00 - $303,400.00. Submit resume with references to: Req.#:23-143146 at:
