Description:
Job Description Our client in Central CT is looking for a technician who can Set-up and operate wire, electrical discharge machines (EDM). Inspect product to determine compliance with product specifications. * Program equipment to produce product to required specifications. * Set-up and operate wire EDM machines, hole poppers / drillers, and RAM EDM machines. * Inspect products to required specifications. * Perform daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance, as specified. * Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment. * Work in a safe fashion, adhering to safety rules, immediately reporting potentially unsafe situations to supervision. * Accountable for quality performance. * Minimize scrap and rework in order to reduce and control product cost. * Minimize scrap and rework in order to assure timely delivery to customers. * Productivity / Efficiency. * Work in a productive and efficient fashion. * Meet production goals/standards determined by the company.
