Systems, Inc., an experienced marine engineering, planning, and ship modernization firm, is seeking a dynamic leader skilled in planning, scheduling, and maintaining the highest standards of production performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing background, with experience in naval welding programs and a demonstrated capability in implementing lean manufacturing principles. Job Requirements / Skill Sets: The candidate shall be able to perform the following tasks: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of ISO quality standards and experience in an ISO-regulated environment. Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Oversee daily operations of the fabrication shop ensuring that production schedules, quality, and cost objectives are met. Develop and implement detailed plans and schedules to maximize efficiency and productivity. Manage and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of production processes. Certified Lean Six Sigma practitioner, with proven track record of implementing successful process improvements preferred. Enhance manufacturing operations through the integration of ISO standards and Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Monitor and evaluate workflow and assembly methods and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to streamline production phases. Experience with Naval Welding (Nav Weld) programs is highly desirable. Provide leadership, guidance, and training to production staff. Forecast needs and manage procurement of materials and equipment. Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field Security Clearance/Naval Facility Access: U.S. citizenship is required. Must be able to meet and maintain eligibility for U.S. Secret Clearance and/or be able to access military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.
