Please read the job description carefully to ensure your qualifications and experience match the role. **Application Requirements** MUST have a portfolio (IG account, website, etc.) attached to your application At the appropriate time in the application process, we may ask you to demonstrate your design abilities with a simple design exercise Must be willing to meet on Zoom for interviews with Leadership We encourage you to visit Vizion Church on a Sunday to see if we’re a good fit for you Direct Report: Media Director Position Status: Fulltime In-Office Position at our West Blvd Campus (not remote or hybrid) Mission of Vizion Church: “ Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” Administrative Responsibilities Attend weekly staff meetings Attend bi-weekly director's meetings Oversee Graphic Design Budget Manage creative contractors/subscriptions/marketing expenses Weekly Responsibilities Graphic content creation Create/oversee the creation of all graphic content of Vizion Church Event graphics (2-5 per week) YouTube thumbnails (1 per week) Social Ministry graphics (3+ for Vizion Church (reel thumbnails sermon graphics, other graphics. 3+ for other ministry pages) Website graphics (regularly updating images, event pages) Print materials and signage (~2 per week) Ensure quality is excellent visually Create/manage style guide: beautiful, clean, simple, modern, urban Video content creation Create/oversee the capture and edit of video content of Vizion Church Countdowns, emcee videos, special live broadcast videos, special projects Short Form Reels and Shorts (2-3 per week) alongside the Social Ministry Director Ensure quality is excellent visually and audibly Capture and edit special video projects Per request of the Lead Pastor or Media Director Oversee Vizion Church website Ensure the website is visually excellent (mobile, desktop and tablet) Ensure the website content is up-to-date: images, text, links, etc… Applies to Easter Website, VizionWorship.com, CharlotteCrusade.com and Vizion Church mobile app Oversee the Vizion Church YouTube channel Ensure the channel maximizes its reach; carrying the Gospel to the nations Actively Optimize YouTube videos for SEO Ensure all content is up-to-date and visually excellent Provide support to Social Media Team Provide support to Production Team All things visual: graphics, countdown videos, bumper videos, motion graphics Communication with Church Staff and Directors Ensure timely communication and appropriate updates on the status of requests and completion dates. Mastery of Project Management and Software Effectively prioritize and manage projects with both long and short-team deliverables and deadlines. Ability to communicate the status of projects and needed assistance/resources Keep control and protect the time needed to complete projects you’ve committed to Keep an accurate Asana dashboard, and effectively assign tasks for approvals Sunday Responsibilities Serve as Staff Leader to Team Leads and Volunteers on Creative Squad Ensure Next Steps is flowing, and shadows and First Serve Sundays are well onboarded Ensure Planning Center People and Services is being updated as volunteer teams changes Ensure Team Leads are appropriately scheduling all volunteers Train and develop or otherwise equip the Photography, Creative Film, and Graphic Design volunteers Ensure progress / creative strategy of Creative Squad alongside the Social Ministry Director Position Requirements Demonstrate a Christian lifestyle Approach each day with enthusiasm Commitment to confidentiality regarding all account records, both of the ministry and staff, and the members Commitment to good interpersonal relationships, teamwork and support of the ministry Attention to detail and precision Dependable attendance Work Week Sunday - 7AM - 2PM Monday - 1PM - 8:30PM Tuesday - 9AM - 5PM Wednesday - 9AM - 5PM Thursday - 9AM - 5PM Friday - OFF Saturday - OFF
