Reporting into the Regional HR Manager, this is an onsite role with a company that offers development opportunities across theorganization. The HR Manager will lead a team of HR professionals in a large facility. Must have HR experience in manufacturing and/or distribution environments. Job Responsibilities:Provides HR consulting expertise to all levels of the organizationAdministers employee relations and engagement programsAdministers existing programs in accordance with established policies and procedures including EEO and ADA complianceConsults with employees and manager to address root causes of issues and resolves through a systematic and analytical approach, including investigations. Makes recommendations to minimize potential employment liabilityConsults with management team to analyze and assess peoples needs and issues. Develops and implements appropriate action plansManages recruitment and hiring process to ensure staffing needs are met for all non-exempt and exempt level positionsEnsures compliance with all applicable regulations (Federal, State, Local) laws and company policies/guidelines.Performs periodic training for all employees levels to include new business processes, policies and compliance trainingActs as the change agent for the functions supportedImplements HR initiatives to improve organization effectives including performance management systems talent development, organization design, and cultural developmentProvides affirmative action program and administration in support of AAP, EEO, and OFCCP complianceActs as the functional lead for internal and external audits. Perform pre-audit activities to minimize risk and maximize audit resultsIdentifies opportunities and recommends changes to increase performance, reduce costs, and positively impact HR metrics through analytical approaches including the tracking of key data and analyzing trendsRequired Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor s Degree in Business Admin, HR or related field5+ years of HR experience in employee relations, recruiting, consulting, leadership development, talent development, and compensation/benefit administration2+ years of HR experience working in a Union environmentMUST HAVE experience in HR in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment. Food Manufacturing ideal.Ability to consult with business partners on talent management and organizational design issuesDemonstrates business maturity and integrity, especially when dealing with highly confidential informationHigh level of emotional intelligence with strong self-awareness and ability to build strong relationships with business leadersAbility to lead others through the problem solving and decision-making processProficient in MS Office Suite. HRIS/Workday a plus
