About the Role: Job Title - Accountant - Expense Reimbursement SpecialistThe Expense Reimbursement Specialist reviews and processes expense reports, verifies costs against report documentation, ensures company expense policy adherence, and communicates with all levels of employees across the organization to address inquiries and provide training on expense policies and procedures. Key Duties: Apply, understand, interpret, and communicate company financial policies and related expense reimbursement policies and procedures. Review and audit expense reports against financial policies. Verify provided documentation meets policy expectations. Clear and concise communication across all levels of the organization. Providing clarity and returning non- compliant reports to employees/managers working towards resolution and timely reimbursement. Providing the highest level of customer service. Creates reports and analyzes data for relevant metrics and performance. Creates journal entries for month end financial close. Minimum qualifications: 2 years of accounting experience. Expense reimbursement experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels in the organization. Demonstrates and maintains advanced knowledge of company policies. Ability to suggest and document on-going changes to automate and enhance department procedures. Intermediate proficiency with MS Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Location: SeaTac, WA Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $40000 - $60000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
