Houston, TX based Valid Management, LLC is seeking a full-time Business Apps Programmer II to perform the following job duties: (1) Correct errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the programs to ensure that the desired results are produced; (2) Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct; (3) Write, update, and maintain computer programs or software packages to handle specific tasks; (4) Write, analyze, review and rewrite programs to handle specific tasks; (5) Perform systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the use of computer systems software; (6) Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program; and (7) Consult with and assist computer operators or system analysts to define and resolve problems in running computer programs. Education, Work Experience, and Skills: Master's Degree or foreign equivalent in: Computer Engineering; Computer Science; MIS; IT; or a related field; and twenty-four (24) months of work experience as either a: Software Developer; Software QA Tester; Software Engineer; or Computer Programmer; and education and work experience skills must include: SQL; JavaScript; Avalara; Selenium; Jenkins; Jmeter; Jira; API Testing; and Glovia ERP.
