Position Summary : Under the supervision of the New Truck Sales Manager, the New Truck Salesman is responsible for selling new equipment, revenue generation, and achieving customer satisfaction Essential Duties and Responsibilities : * Responsible for the sale of new trucks of all varieties in stock * Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face-to-face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, e-mail and networking. * Maintains detailed and accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities. * Gathers and submits detailed business information for pricing, and presents solutions to identified prospects. * Helps to maintain the NewTruck lot. * Other duties as assigned **Applicants only - NO RECRUITERS** Education Required * High School or better in General Studies/Diploma Licenses & Certifications Preferred * CDL Skills Required * Basic Writing Skills * Communication * Customer Service * Negotiation * Organization Preferred * Microsoft Office Behaviors Required * Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well * Enthusiastic: Shows intense and eager enjoyment and interest Motivations Required * Entrepreneurial Spirit: Inspired to perform well by an ability to drive new ventures within the business * Ability to Make an Impact: Inspired to perform well by the ability to contribute to the success of a project or the organization Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
