Newsong Los Angeles Newsong Los Angeles is a multiethnic and multigenerational church on the West Side of LA that is committed a vision of reconcilation. We are a diverse community that has a deep commitment to social justice and relevant faith. Youth Pastor Position Summary We are looking for an individual who is committed to the care, outreach, and spiritual formation for middle and high school students. Our current youth ministry includes ~20 students. And we are looking for someone who connects well with students, collaborates well with other staff and adults, can lead and train volunteers, and who fits with the ethos of our church community.The Youth Pastor will be responsible for: Leading weekly mid-week ministries with middle and high school students Leading a team of lay volunteers Planning and organizing all youth ministry gatherings and events Connecting with students as a mentor (following policies regarding student safety) Communicating with volunteers and parents needed The Youth Pastor's experience and qualifications should include: Bachelor's degree Previous experience working with students in a ministry setting Previous experience with multiethnic ministry A full job description (with qualifications and responsibilties) and application link can be found here: https://www.newsongla.net/jobs.
