POSITION SUMMARY The Market Manager is responsible for the successful business development of their market which includes business planning and budgeting.They are also responsible for development of a business referral network(of Centers of Influence (COIs)), prospecting of potential clients, active participation in networking events and holding leadership roles within community and business organizations to extend name recognition and the reputation of the Bank. The Market Manager is responsible for the coaching, performance management and talent management of direct reports. They are also responsible for overseeing their market branches operational proficiency, sales success and the development of the branch employees while ensuring that the branch practices sound risk management and adheres to all policies and procedures of the Bank. The Market Manager III position typically consists of the following factors: Manage 5 or more branches Deposit base of 250MM + FTE count of 25+ High Opportunity Market The Market Manager will lead a Retail or Corporate initiative throughout the calendar year and will be responsible for mentoring and coaching new hires and peers as needed. The MM may also act as a back:up to the Regional as necessary. MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : The Market Manager duties and responsibilities are grouped into Sales and Managerial (Service and Operations). Sales: :Successfully develops commercial business in their markets through Centers of Influence (COI) referrals, networking and general prospecting to achieve branch growth goals :Business planning and tactical execution of strategic goals:Platform sales and service responsibilities as required:Acquires new consumer and business prospects. Expand and retain profitable customer relationships Managerial :Oversees direct reports to deliver branch sales, service and operational excellence:Utilizes the HEART approach to coaching managers on a monthly basis:Assists the Regional Manager in achieving goals for the overall Region :Communicates, motivates, monitors and coaches the branch staff in attaining production and referral goals:Assures operations standards are met through branch adherence to bank policies:Monitors and controls revenue and expense budget targets:Promotes the professional growth of employees through planned development activities and experiences for succession advancement May perform other duties as requested. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervises Banking Center Managers. Indirectly supervises branch personnel through subordinate supervisors.
