Key Responsibilities stylemargin:bottom:11.0px::Assist with design portions of a project related to discipline systems according to code and standards under the direct supervision of the engineering department:Participates in the analysis and validation of design concepts:Perform design calculations for given projects where appropriate:Performs routine engineering tasks using standard engineering practices:Learn applicable design principles related to Project requirements:Follow Oldcastle's national CAD standards and procedures for creation of product drawings utilizing AutoCAD:Review bills of materials and production drawings:Assist drafters and engineers as needed Qualifications / Required Skills stylemargin:bottom:11.0px::Sophomore or Junior pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (possibly open to Mechanical, but not preferred), or other related discipline and/or equivalent combination of knowledge, skills and abilities:Demonstrated knowledge of engineering fundamentals and proficiency in Microsoft Office:Strong analytical, problem:solving skills and ability to work in fast paced environment:Excellent interpersonal skills and exemplary oral/written communication skills:Ability to work both independently and in a team setting:Ability to write reports and analyze raw data:Knowledge of construction practices is a plus What CRH Offers You : Highly competitive base pay: Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs: Group retirement savings program: Health and wellness programs: A diverse and inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion About CRH CRH has a long and proud heritage.
