Accepting applications for the following position: Cafe Counter Staff Purpose: To keep all counter areas neat and clean, and to assist in the achievement of departmental goals and to provide excellent customer service. Status: Reports to Counter Manager, Part Time RESPONSIBILITIES: I. Customer Service A. Provide attentive and courteous customer service B. Maintain case displays C. Assist in hot entrée service D. Keep all counter aspects neat and clean E. Sample deli items F. Make juices, smoothies, and sandwiches quickly and efficiently II. Stocking A. Put away orders as necessary B. Label paper and plastic items as needed C. Organize as needed D. Pack and face Grab and Go items and bakery items E. Prep Juice Bar items. III. Salad/Sandwich Bar A. Follow safe food handling guidelines B. Work with Shift Coordinator to assist in the daily workflow C. Maintain back stock of all items IV. Other Duties A. Participate in departmental and storewide meetings and trainings B. Participate in departmental inventories and projects C. Other tasks as assigned by Deli Manager/Counter Supervisor/Shift Coordinator QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Self:motivated, organized, responsible, flexible 2. Customer service experience 3. Ability to lift 50 pounds 4. Regular, predictable attendance 5. Able to work well in a team to achieve departmental goals 6. Interested natural foods 7.
