The candidate will research and write coverage opinions providing legal advice to a wide array of insurance clients. Will review claim files, underlying claim materials, and policy language. Prepare comprehensive coverage analyses and Reservation of Rights letters. Annual billable hours requirement: 1,850. Should preferably have experience preparing insurance coverage opinions and litigating coverage and extra-contractual matters. License to practice law in Washington State and Federal courts preferred. Litigation experience is required; trial experience is preferred. Strong insurance knowledge is required. Formed about two decades ago, this accomplished law firm has two offices in the state of Washington and employs a significantly large team of adept lawyers. The firm specializes in civil litigation defense and focuses on accident investigations, appeals, arbitration-mediation, commercial litigation, environmental coverage, and general liability defense.Additional Skills: The candidate should have excellent research and writing skills. The ability to work creatively to and develop innovative legal strategies is required. Must have strong research and writing skills.
