The candidate will handle cases from start to finish, including taking and defending depositions, drafting complex dispositive motions, and managing document-intensive cases throughout all stages and in preparation for trial. Conduct legal research, prepare pleadings, and participate in all phases of litigation. Manage a caseload from start to finish. Take and defend depositions. Draft and argue motions, including dispositive and discovery motions. Attend hearings and trials, as needed. Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel. Collaborate with colleagues and provide support as needed. Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and legal procedures is essential. Should have litigation experience in matters involving the healthcare industry and will be a current member of the California State Bar from an ABA-accredited law school. This firm has two offices located in Los Angeles and Orange County, California. This firm specializes in civil litigations, and other areas it specializes in are elder and dependent adult abuse, defense of medical malpractice, catastrophic personal injury cases, all claims arising under person and commercial insurance lines, and employment claims.
