Job Description Responsible for assisting in the preparation, distribution, and accounting of employee payroll. Duties and tasks are assigned and prioritized based upon the company's evolving needs and includes but is not limited to:Assist in the preparation of employee payroll (bi-weekly or semi-monthly depending on the payroll supported)Analyze, verify and input payroll dataManage daily payment processing runsManage TerminationsManage GarnishmentsManage leave of absence pay (LOA's)Manage escheatment processProcess daily ISO, NQ, RSU stock files and monthly ESPP EQ'sReconcile and prepare vendor wires for payroll deductionsManage daily banking tasks (ACH funding, checking printing, ACH rejections & stop payments)Manage overpayment processProcess employees withholding allowance certificates (Form W-4, Form TD1, Form TP1015.R.13.1-V1)Process pay history requests (statement of earnings copies)Research vacation and timecard inquiriesProcess W-2, 499R2/W2PR, T4 or RL copy requestsPrepares monthly, quarterly, annual Workers Compensation premium remittance calculationsPrepares monthly, quarterly, annual tax reconciliationsAssists with research and resolution of tax noticesParticipates in payroll system upgrades and implementations#LI-VC7Career Level - IC2 Responsibilities Serves as a liaison to employees and third party payroll vendors to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects company specific pay policies. Audits employee pay records and reconciles totals by departmental cost center, location, etc. Participates in payroll system upgrades and implementations. Works directly with employees to resolve outstanding payroll inquiries. Ensures FLSA status is correctly captured in the system per employee. Interprets pay policies, e.g. vacation, LOA, disability, workers compensation, governmental regulations, withholding exemptions, etc. and ensures amounts/deductions are calculated and applied to various accounts correctly. Ensures company compliance with federal and state payroll standards. In house payroll expert, staying current with changes in the law. May assist with audits such as internal, state, federal, etc. for correctly classifying and paying employees. May prepare tax reports and related documentation. Documents payroll processes and procedures. May train other payroll staff. May be back up to those who perform specialized tasks or activities. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range: from $24.57 to $48.08 per hour; from $51,100 to $100,000 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
